EVERY NIGHT'S A SCHOOL NIGHT PODCAST

"Your show reminds me of someone cornering you at a party, trying to talk to you as it winds down." - Name withheld

Every Night's A School Night podcast began in 2013 and remains dedicated to independent thinking, personal commentary, absurd humor, and observational neuroses with a soundtrack of obscure doo wop, country, and rockabilly from the 1950s and 1960s.

Since 2017, a sub-show called Night School has quickly overtaken and outpaced the original format like an invasive species, offering a constant stream of impulsive stream-of-consciousness and pure commentary without music. Night School is dominated by rants and humor that create winding and twisting themes through multiple episodes, eventually reaching sincerity only to mutate back into surreal comedy.

Topics include cultural criticism, mysticism, creativity, personal history, irritation, and a limitless list of topics handled with equal parts reverence and irreverence. The show offers something for everyone to love and hate, even in the same moment, and always with a willingness to descend into total psychological chaos.

I enjoy hearing from listeners whether you have something to say or nothing at all. Say whatever you want.
